Dr. Keith Javic always knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. “It was a childhood dream of mine to be a vet,” he says.

He grew up in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, and pursued his undergraduate degree in biology at Philadelphia University. In 2003, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine and joined the staff of the Rothman Animal Hospital shortly after.

Dr. Javic enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but loves the opportunity to help pets live longer healthier lives. “I really enjoy seeing medical or surgical success translate into a grateful owner and a happy, healthy pet, “ he says. “I also enjoy the camaraderie of working with the large staff we have at the hospital.” Dr. Javic’s special interests include surgery, opthamology and dermatology.

He and his family live in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with two dogs — a Whippet and a Pug — and two cats.

A lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and season ticket holder, Dr. Javic considers Eagles football one of his favorite pastimes.
