Biography

Dr. King earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University.

Throughout her veterinary journey, Dr. King has gained experience working with small animals, large animals, exotic pets, wildlife, and farm animals. She has accumulated more than 2,000 volunteer hours caring for zoo animals, wildlife, farm animals, and companion animals, reflecting her lifelong dedication to animal health and welfare.

Her professional interests include surgery, exotic animal medicine, and oncology, where she enjoys combining advanced medical knowledge with compassionate patient care. She is passionate about educating pet owners and helping them make informed decisions that support the health and well-being of their pets.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. King enjoys reading, hiking, and running. She shares her home with her fiancé and a very full furry (and scaly!) family that includes two dogs, four cats, a hedgehog, and a blue-tongued skink. While attending veterinary school in St. Kitts, she also rescued two cats from the island nation and brought them home, giving them a second chance at a wonderful life.
